About us
Who we are
We are specialists in LED plant lighting. We provide numerous green projects worldwide with the right lighting. We ensure that trees and plants receive enough light to stay healthy and reach their full potential. Even in the darkest locations, where there is little or no daylight, we manage to make any tree or plant grow and reach its full potential. With the right plant lighting, even a tropical tree can do well in the darkest corner of a building! So with our plant lighting, you no longer have to choose shade plants or even artificial plants. Whether it is a living green wall in a store, plants and trees in an office building or complete indoor jungles in swimming pools, we have years of experience in every field!
Unlike many other providers, our knowledge comes from more than 25 years of experience in indoor farming. Nowhere is the right light more important than here. This knowledge is translated into and large variety of models for every situation and for everyone’s taste.
Our mission
Unfortunately, all too often we see that plant lighting is not considered when creating a planting plan. Trees and plants cannot stay healthy without the right type of growing light. If indoor plantings do not receive the proper planting light, the plants quickly deteriorate. This can lead to stretching plants and malformed leaves. The plants also become more susceptible to diseases and fungi. Eventually, the plants will have to be replaced, which is a costly and unsustainable affair!

Our mission is to ensure that every tree or plant in a building remains healthy and beautiful by giving it the right light with the right color spectrum.
Green = Healthy
more benefits: they purify the air, provide better acoustics and people feel better when there is plenty of greenery. Research has even shown that in companies with lots of greenery, sick leave is significantly lower than in other companies! In short: Plants keep your company healthy… We keep your plants healthy!
Why plant lighting?
A common mistake is to assume that plants and humans prefer the same thing. Yet the light a plant needs is completely different from the light that is sufficient for the human eye. The biggest difference between ordinary lighting and plant lighting is the color spectrum of the light. A tree on plant uses totally different colors in the color spectrum than humans do. Where humans see mainly yellow and green, the plant uses mainly blue and red. When you look at it with the human too, a plant or tree appears to be in full light, but that rarely means that this light is composed of the correct color spectrum.
The right color spectrum
It is common, for example, for skylights, domes or windows to have a solar coating. This blocks key light colors that are essential for plants and trees. In our plant lighting, these colors are supplemented, allowing indoor plants to grow properly.
Brightness
In addition to the right color spectrum, the amount of light must also be right. A shade plant has very different light requirements than a tropical tree. It is important that the planting gets enough light hours every day. During the winter months, this is rarely the case. In that case, additional plant lighting is necessary to keep the plants healthy. Our specialists study the required lighting for each project and provide advice based on that study.
How we work
To determine which lighting solution best suits the project, we first have an orientation meeting with our client. What kind of planting is involved? At what distance from the plants can plant lights be mounted? How much daylight is available at the location in question? By asking the right questions, we can quickly determine whether additional plant lighting is needed. If during the initial conversation it becomes apparent that this is necessary, we will draw up a lighting plan.
Custom advice
Every project is unique and requires a unique lighting solution. Thus, in consultation with our clients, we always select the lamps that best fit their specific needs.
Both new and existing projects
With a new project, we go over the planting plan together and discuss options regarding the installation of plant lighting. Our lighting specialists are usually part of the project team and are closely involved in the consultation, regarding planting. With photos and/or (building) plans, we can often make a good estimate of the type of plant lighting needed. If necessary, we will come on site to perform a light measurement.
The same applies to existing projects. The advantage here is that we can observe in practice how the planting behaves and what the climate is like. By “reading” the trees and plants, we become aware of how to steer and improve the situation by using the right plant light. This can also be done remotely or on site, according to the client’s preference.
Large and small projects
Every project is equally important to us when it comes to planting. Whether it’s a single tree or plant in a store, or a complete indoor park in an office tower, we are here for everyone!
Everyone happy
Although our main goal is that indoor plantings receive optimal lighting, we are well aware that several factors must be taken into account. A few examples:
- What are the wishes/requirements of the architect/designer?
- Are there any limiting factors regarding lamp placement?
- Should “light friendliness” to the human eye be taken into account?
- Is there a maximum budget?
- What is the deadline for completion of the project?
We include all of these aspects in our lighting plan. It is sometimes quite a challenge to keep everyone happy, but so far we have succeeded every time!
